Nova Austral informs that from today, Nicolás Larco will assume the role as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company, maintaining his responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer until further notice. The Board of Directors expresses its total satisfaction with the appointment of Nicolás due to his performance covering this role in recent months and is fully confident that he is the ideal person to lead the company in its future challenges.
Furthermore, Nova Austral announces that it is reinforcing its administrative structure by hiring executives with extensive experience in different fields. Anton Felmer assumes on an interim basis the role as a Senior Vice President of Operations of the company, where he will focus on sales & marketing as well as selected operational initiatives.
Felmer has worked for over eight years in the salmon industry, seeking investment opportunities in aquaculture in Chile and the region for AquaChile.
Additionally, Ricardo Ferrari, former M&A & Investments Associate Manager at the Chilean retailer Cencosud, will take over as the new Director of Business Development. Ferrari, MBA educated at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (USA), will lead business development and corporate finance-related projects.
Nova Austral continues to provide the necessary support to Francisco Miranda, former Chief Operating Officer, in his health recovery and hopes that he will soon rejoin the company.
